Me, My Camera and Makoko
Me, My Camera and Makoko
Oh isn't it just magical to know God?
To know He loves you?
To know He's watching over you?
plotting out a way for everything to work out for your good.
I've seen happiness. I've seen happiness in the funniest places, and saddest situations.
I've seen happiness. I've seen happiness in the funniest places, and saddest situations.
I've seen them sit naked in mud, run around with their bare feet, and eat with their dirty hands from nylons.
In Makoko, Life is easy.
Everyone worries about the basic things, food water, and shelter.
In Makoko, the children run free, day and night.
It never stops.
The men in Makoko make it a daily habit to gamble away their daily bread; literally.
I once watched those men gamble with bowls of uncooked rice and pasta.
The streets of Makoko are full of laughter, joy, stories, sadness, distrust, fear, black magic, diseases, air pollution, water pollution, etc.
